Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Eleuterio Chabier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 6th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Eleuterio Chabier sent off a good shot on target. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Eleuterio Chabier scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 2-1. 33 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicolás DAndrea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Serafim Catranides's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. The corner led Defensores del Ángel Gris's Serafim Catranides to a score. 3-1 in the 36th minute. Gabi Golanski came free with the goalkeeper in the 42nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonathan Ferrant could save by the left post. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafim Catranides in the 44th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 48 minutes into the game, Guillermo Mariano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Defensores del Ángel Gris the free kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Serafim Catranides stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolás DAndrea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolás DAndrea made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Defensores del Ángel Gris's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Venezuela's corner Tomas Illescas fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nicolás DAndrea quite easily take care of the ball. Rigoberto Mina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicolás DAndrea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafim Catranides, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute, Rigoberto Mina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 94 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Defensores del Ángel Gris walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
