After recieving a nice pass, Colombia's Axel Montenegro tried to score from far away in the 35th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fiori Guimarães in the 37th minute. Diguinho Moreira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. In the 42nd minute Kevin Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bedir Erdönmez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ťĥē Řïśĭηģ §ŧŕĩкë's Klim Gabelkov quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Antonio Indiano, made in the 46th minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Hasan Sentosa made the kick off in the second half. Abram Sarmiento was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 69th minute. Colombia's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. In the 74th minute Ignacio Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bedir Erdönmez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th play minute Abram Secada came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Bedir Erdönmez. 2-3.
