A very good chance. 8 minutes into the match, A Sandvig G's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Wictor Maiborg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wictor Maiborg in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Wictor Maiborg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Wictor Maiborg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Serra in the 21st minute of the match. A Sandvig G's Wictor Maiborg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 22nd minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wictor Maiborg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lennarth Foxø in the 32nd minute. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Joseph Kyndlev struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A Sandvig G. After a rather tough play, A Sandvig G's Lennarth Foxø got a free kick in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 42nd minute of play forced A Sandvig G's goalkeeper Wictor Maiborg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in A Sandvig G's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wictor Maiborg came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silvestre Serra hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wictor Maiborg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 55th minute. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by A Sandvig G's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Juan Sebastián Puig fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wictor Maiborg quite easily take care of the ball. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67thth minute of the game Silvestre Serra who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 73 minutes into the match, A Sandvig G's goalkeeper Wictor Maiborg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. Wictor Maiborg made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. After 77 minutes of play, A Sandvig G's Stuart Holritz made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tom Stahlschmidt, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 87th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. A Sandvig G's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 88th minute, but Wictor Maiborg got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving A Sandvig G hanging dry this time. A Sandvig G's Janich Hvalsøe got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
