But to his dismay, Dorin Doroftei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iustin Pandrea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorin Doroftei in the 17th minute of the match. After having played for 20 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paschalis Karastathis in the 22nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorin Doroftei in the 24th minute of play. A throw-in in the 28th minute of the game was made by Hafiz Nusri with Dorin Doroftei as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Nichifor Sabău hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Fc Metalu Bogdan Voda MM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cazimir Velicu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dorin Doroftei was the one to do the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paschalis Karastathis in the 54th minute of play. Nichifor Sabău kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After 59 minutes, Gigel Omescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fc Metalu Bogdan Voda MM and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fc Metalu Bogdan Voda MM's Gigel Omescu got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute, Paschalis Karastathis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 93rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigel Omescu in the 98th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Fc Metalu Bogdan Voda MM had played much better football throughout.
