Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cícero da Costa made the kick off which started today's match. Cícero da Costa took the ball and in the 2 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Melquiades Amor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA from getting a goal against them. 8 minutes into the game, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Genko Balevski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquin Gayoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 12 minutes into the game, Ivo Lago threw the ball into play from the sideline. Uruguay's Camilo Covarrubias quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With his leg Melquiades Amor managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Uruguay's Francisco Seco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Egídio Magalhães blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquin Gayoso having to make a save. Melquiades Amor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 19th minute of the match. With a little luck, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Melquiades Amor got control of the ball when Francisco Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 32nd minute, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Francisco Seco fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Amadeu Veloso hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Amor having to interfere. Francisco Seco's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Melquiades Amor firmly grabbed it by the left post. Alberto Gisbert hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genko Balevski in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Seco was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Franco to maneuver through the defense. Ivo Lago charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivo Lago the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 57 played minutes CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA got a freekick which was hit by Ivo Lago. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Camilo Covarrubias got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 62nd minute Genko Balevski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cícero da Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Melquiades Amor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genko Balevski, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Joaquin Gayoso was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Genko Balevski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Genko Balevski really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. In the 86th minute Alberto Gisbert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Amor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Cícero da Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's supporters rose to their feet, but Cícero da Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Gayoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 91 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cícero da Costa. Alberto Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Cícero da Costa came free with the goalkeeper in the 93rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Joaquin Gayoso could save by the left post. When Genko Balevski came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Genko Balevski couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Uruguay lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
