After a rather tough play, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Mao Yan Yong got a free kick in the 20th minute. Diogo Paim Macedo struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Abelardo Janpier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brazil. Heitor Paim Belluci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Todd Gronow in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Todd Gronow left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Abelardo Janpier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Paz Rocha in the 39th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Todd Gronow managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Todd Gronow was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Heitor Paim Belluci breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Aguiar Farias in the 44th minute of play forced Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's goalkeeper Abelardo Janpier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Brazil's Tiago Rios Ruiz got a free kick in the 46th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Todd Gronow made a kick off. Diogo Paim Macedo took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abelardo Janpier. If Todd Gronow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abelardo Janpier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renato Pedroso Kimura in the 76th minute of play. The supporters of Brazil booed when Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruben Eate didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Brazil left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC.
