An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 25th minute of play forced Musztarda Diżą's goalkeeper Roch Kempka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Borys Palzewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute Cassius Byrne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roch Kempka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Musztarda Diżą's Roch Kempka got control of the ball when Cassius Byrne tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cassius Byrne was the one to do the kick off. In the 92nd minute Sam Campbell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roch Kempka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that USA were the better team. USA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
