In the 12th match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavier Zoido to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Cunumbuqui FBC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Salvatore Masa hit a great ball. When Lalo Blanquel fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cunumbuqui FBC's protests and gave Lalo Blanquel a yellow card for diving instead. Lalo Blanquel kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 俞崇永 in the 21st minute of the match. 秦西岚 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Covarrubias, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 秦西岚 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 29th minute of play. The supporters of Cunumbuqui FBC booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Prats didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Salvatore Masa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the game, Errolan Hernani was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cunumbuqui FBC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paraguay the free kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 俞崇永 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Cunumbuqui FBC booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Prats didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 俞崇永 in the 53rd minute of play. Jose Sanz hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute Primitivo Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 秦西岚 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaime Pardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 秦西岚 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Salvatore Masa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cunumbuqui FBC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 秦西岚 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Pardo in the 71st minute of play. Errolan Hernani kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 俞崇永 went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Salvatore Masa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. If 俞崇永 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Paraguay's Primitivo Escribano got a free kick in the 89th minute. After 92 minutes, Feyyaz Canay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cunumbuqui FBC and the Paraguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd match minute, Cunumbuqui FBC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feyyaz Canay to maneuver through the defense. When Jaime Pardo came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Paraguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Pardo couldn't finish the play. Many of Paraguay's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Paraguay may have spent more time on the ball, but Cunumbuqui FBC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
