In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind AQUILES's goalkeeper Frank Frankfurter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 8 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Justin Kluivert. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justin Kluivert, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Frank Frankfurter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 30 minutes into the match, AQUILES's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Frank Frankfurter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After the first half Peru were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

51 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Generoso Elodio came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Milagros Fraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Eliseo Mina came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Mina couldn't finish the play. In the 59th minute Long Ke Yang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 69th minute of play forced AQUILES's goalkeeper Frank Frankfurter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Generoso Elodio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Long Ke Yang in the 72nd minute of play. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Fix in the 73rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frank Frankfurter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Elodio in the 79th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to AQUILES getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Nicasio Castulo hit a great ball. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. In the 84th minute, Nicasio Castulo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, AQUILES's Frank Frankfurter got control of the ball when Antonio Tenorio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 87th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Eliseo Mina went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Eliseo Mina got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Frank Frankfurter quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 88th minute, Generoso Elodio made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicasio Castulo in the 91st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Tenorio in the 92nd minute of play forced AQUILES's goalkeeper Frank Frankfurter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prospero Fix in the 93rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, AQUILES's German Cordarius got a free kick in the 94th minute. Peru were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after AQUILES's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eliseo Mina took the corner. Peru's Eliseo Mina was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Frank Frankfurter in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Peru played a much better game than AQUILES and deserved their victory. The AQUILES players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
