Konstanty Dubilas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 15 minutes into the match, Hawajskie Koszule's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Sebastián Puig came free, but Konstanty Dubilas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Manel Cabrito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Hugon Pruss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Hugon Pruss stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Hugon Pruss tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Hawajskie Koszule was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliusz Dziatkowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute, Daniel Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Manel Cabrito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Manel Cabrito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manel Cabrito, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. The corner ended in A.J. 周瑜 almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. The Hawajskie Koszule supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ecuador's performance. The match ended with a win for Ecuador.
