Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Eugen Moromete made the kick off and thus started the match. A collision led to Street Ballers V55 getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Adrian Iovanovici hit a great ball. In the 8th minute Street Ballers V55 were awarded a corner. Octavian Barbu went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ecuador's goalie and right to Adrian Iovanovici. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ecuador's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 10th minute, Octavian Barbu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the match, Street Ballers V55's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Dalmacio Jacob reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Street Ballers V55's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Felix Montenegro managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Octav Dordea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Octav Dordea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugen Moromete in the 19th minute of the match. Dalmacio Jacob showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dalmacio Jacob. Dalmacio Jacob dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Octav Dordea tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 26 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Octavian Barbu who took care of the corner kick. Cornel Argăseală hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmacio Jacob saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adrian Iovanovici. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adrian Iovanovici got free with Julio Vera in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Camilo Gisbert's late challenge caught a Street Ballers V55's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Gisbert helped the player get up and apologised. After 42 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. Cristian Sancho hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugen Moromete in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute, Cornel Argăseală hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 56 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montenegro. Octav Dordea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Eugen Moromete put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugen Moromete in the 67th minute of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octav Dordea in the 70th minute of play. After 70 minutes of play, Street Ballers V55's Octav Dordea made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 75th minute, one of Ecuador:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ecuador. Ecuador:s Julio Vera showed great skill when he stopped Octav Dordea:s penalty. 80 minutes into the match, Street Ballers V55's goalkeeper Dalmacio Jacob had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 91st minute, Adrian Iovanovici hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 98th minute Eugen Moromete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Street Ballers V55 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ecuador had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
