Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Melquiades Lizar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute F.C. Sant Sabo were awarded a corner. Raúl Dagora went to the cornerflag to take it. Colon Manrique made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 19th minute of play. In the 24thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but F.C. Sant Sabo's Colon Manrique was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mazuste Flores kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Mata in the 29th minute of play. F.C. Sant Sabo were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Raúl Dagora took the corner. After taking down the ball on F.C. Sant Sabo's corner Raúl Dagora fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. In the 34th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Andino to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Colon Manrique having to make a save. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Lizar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. F.C. Sant Sabo's Melquiades Lizar got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roberto Mata to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Melquiades Lizar managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. Sant Sabo's supporters rose to their feet, but Melquiades Lizar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melquiades Lizar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. F.C. Sant Sabo's Roberto Mata got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Melquiades Lizar struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C. Sant Sabo. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Lizar in the 70th minute of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. F.C. Sant Sabo's Raúl Dagora managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Primitivo Andino in the 79 minute of the game. A nice corner shot did that Raúl Dagora got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 84 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Colon Manrique narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Melquiades Lizar managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. Sant Sabo's supporters rose to their feet, but Melquiades Lizar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Colon Manrique in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Primitivo Andino hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. F.C. Sant Sabo succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ecuador had controlled the match.
