Arif Ozan Oğuztan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Monty Rogers's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hipolito Laurendi in the 25th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Hipolito Laurendi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arrecifes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Koby Fletcher kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Edward Mcdonald hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a little luck, USA's Marco Day got control of the ball when Cirilo Ritchie tried to sneak it across the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Arrecifes's goal looked a bit too open when Sam Campbell came free, but Arif Ozan Oğuztan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Although USA had been in control for most of the match, Arrecifes still came away with the win.
