Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Göksun Tetiker sent off a good shot on target. Joel Campbell hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Fabiano Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Bermendespor's Göksun Tetiker. But to his dismay, Göksun Tetiker quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Göksun Tetiker got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 3-0. In the 24th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Mina to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bedrettin Bayındır, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Göksun Tetiker in the 43rd minute. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. Luís Fabiano Vidal charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luís Fabiano Vidal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th minute, Luís Fabiano Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Bermendespor were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bedrettin Bayındır took the corner. When Gaffar Masum fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bermendespor's protests and gave Gaffar Masum a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Bermendespor's Gaffar Masum got a free kick in the 57th minute. After 63 minutes of play, Bermendespor's Eray Çetinoz made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Bermendespor getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Gaffar Masum hit a great ball. Jonathan Söderström made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. If Eray Çetinoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 72 minutes, William Wallman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bermendespor's supporters crossed their fingers, but William Wallman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bedrettin Bayındır during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 88 minutes into the game, Bermendespor's Eray Çetinoz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Söderström having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göksun Tetiker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Bermendespor's Göksun Tetiker got a free kick in the 96th minute.
