Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alex Remiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. With his leg Alex Remiro managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Chile's Mariano Lacasa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Harun Ziver's late challenge caught a Chile's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Harun Ziver helped the player get up and apologised. SA Samsunspor 2011's Alex Remiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save SA Samsunspor 2011 from getting a goal against them. Alex Remiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Casaus in the 85th minute of play. Chile's Pedro Indiano quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bernaldo Silva, made in the 92nd minute of the game. In the 93rd minute, Mariano Lacasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alex Remiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. There was no doubt that Chile were the better team. Chile's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
