Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nedo Nadi, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Franco Catucci made a huge save. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davide Bertolini in the 31st minute of play. 0-2 became the score in the 31st minute when Davide Bertolini elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Nedo Nadi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. The audience held their breath when Nildo Sena in the 49th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Jonathan Ferrant's left hand side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Davide Bertolini to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Nedo Nadi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Nicolò Kings fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. 57 minutes into the match, San Nicolò Kings's Nedo Nadi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nedo Nadi. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Venezuela booed when San Nicolò Kings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Tagliente didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 77th minute of play forced San Nicolò Kings's goalkeeper Franco Catucci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
