An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernaldo Silva in the 8th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Indiano to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the game, SA Samsunspor 2011's Ariel Telo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Alex Remiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Mastache in the 18th minute of the match. Axel Montenegro made a great header on Colombia's corner, it was just that SA Samsunspor 2011's Alex Remiro managed to reach the ball for a save. 21 minutes into the match, Axel Montenegro notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of SA Samsunspor 2011's Alex Remiro. Alex Remiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 34th play minute Ariel Telo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Pedro Manzanares. 4-1. 40 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Amos Hell came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Necati Akkoyun got a throw-in 43 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ian Borromeo. Ian Borromeo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pedro Manzanares firmly grabbed it by the left post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abram Sarmiento to make the kick off. Axel Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Montenegro got free with Alex Remiro in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alex Remiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Montenegro in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amos Hell in the 58th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, SA Samsunspor 2011's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Alex Remiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute Sertel Karacabey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alex Remiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Ignacio Mastache put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Alex Remiro. Alex Remiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abram Secada in the 76th minute. 81 minutes into the game, Abram Secada recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alex Remiro. Abram Secada showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-4. The audience was convinced that Ariel Telo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Alex Remiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 87th minute of play. Ariel Telo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luis Cazalla made in the 93rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Kevin Mastache. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Colombia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
