After 10 minutes of play, Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's Enzo Francescoli made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Day was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enzo Francescoli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reynaldo Astrada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 19th minute of the match. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Akil Tüney, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by USA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Konrad Birkenhagen was slow to take the kick. During this time Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb's Konrad Birkenhagen to fire away a dangerous shot which Marco Day despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Akil Tüney in the 94th minute of play. In the 95th minute, Koby Fletcher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Çóndør Fútbøl Clüb would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
