A well-hit corner resulted in He Fei Zhou heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gottlieb Hammer in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rogério Ceni saved Cercadinho from getting behind. In the 16thth minute of the game Gottlieb Hammer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cercadinho's Rogério Ceni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gottlieb Hammer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Rogério Ceni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Paulo Mello's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karsten Zielinski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gottlieb Hammer in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rogério Ceni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gottlieb Hammer in the 35th minute of play forced Cercadinho's goalkeeper Rogério Ceni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Paulo Mello received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Karsten Zielinski came out and tried to block the shot, but José Paulo Mello slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 36th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gottlieb Hammer in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rogério Ceni saved Cercadinho from getting behind. Balus Treter were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Cercadinho's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Elivélton Tavares took the corner. After 43 minutes, He Fei Zhou mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cercadinho and the Balus Treter players grew even worse after the yellow card. He Fei Zhou hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Paulo Mello to make the kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Gottlieb Hammer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balus Treter's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gottlieb Hammer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Balus Treter's Milenko Ermentraut managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by He Fei Zhou in the 57 minute of the game. The throw-in from He Fei Zhou in the 57th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Balus Treter's Milenko Ermentraut. Gottlieb Hammer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogério Ceni having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gottlieb Hammer in the 61st minute of play forced Cercadinho's goalkeeper Rogério Ceni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cercadinho's zone, Gottlieb Hammer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rogério Ceni came out of the goal and Gottlieb Hammer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 66 played minutes Cercadinho got a freekick which was hit by He Fei Zhou. In the 68th minute, Balus Treter's Gottlieb Hammer ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rogério Ceni. Rogério Ceni yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. He Fei Zhou hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Rogério Ceni was a little too slow when Gottlieb Hammer got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 1-2. With a little luck, Cercadinho's Rogério Ceni got control of the ball when Gottlieb Hammer tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gottlieb Hammer in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rogério Ceni saved Cercadinho from getting behind. Gottlieb Hammer might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rogério Ceni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gottlieb Hammer ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 82nd minute of the match, Gottlieb Hammer got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rogério Ceni was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Gottlieb Hammer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cercadinho made a substitution. Valiente Venezian replaced José Paulo Mello. Karsten Zielinski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valiente Venezian, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Claudinei Pirani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Balus Treter played a much better game than Cercadinho and deserved their victory. The Cercadinho players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
