The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alvin Hellkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emanuel Vall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig Enström in the 5th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Alvin Hellkvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emanuel Vall. Grängesberg FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alvin Hellkvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. A collision led to Grängesberg FK getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Gernando Quadros hit a great ball. Alvin Hellkvist's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Emanuel Vall skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Grängesberg FK's Konrad Czajkowski got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Arif Ensar Usbey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joel Vallengren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrik Albohm, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Grängesberg FK's goal looked a bit too open when Alvin Hellkvist came free, but Emanuel Vall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Árpád Balogh received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emanuel Vall came out and tried to block the shot, but Árpád Balogh slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 32nd minute. Emanuel Vall stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvin Hellkvist's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. In the 43rd minute of the match, Davide Mandara tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Emanuel Vall saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Claes Lund made in the 45th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Älvsjö AIK's Iwan Rzeszutko. Alvin Hellkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Älvsjö AIK made a substitution. Henning Stigsson replaced Marcus Albohm. Älvsjö AIK's Alex Thidén was substituted for Nicklas Vacker. The wind increased when Henrik Albohm made the kick off in the second half. Árpád Balogh was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 56th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Arif Ensar Usbey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grängesberg FK's attentive Adam Brovall managed to snatch the ball when Iwan Rzeszutko made a throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game. Emanuel Vall stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvin Hellkvist's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvin Hellkvist in the 67th minute of play forced Grängesberg FK's goalkeeper Emanuel Vall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Árpád Balogh came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Älvsjö AIK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Árpád Balogh couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orvar Andreasson in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emanuel Vall saved Grängesberg FK from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arif Ensar Usbey in the 89th minute of play forced Grängesberg FK's goalkeeper Emanuel Vall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Älvsjö AIK fully deserved thier win.
