Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nicasio Ted took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 2 minutes, Fanis Perdikoglou mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PanSerraikos 1964 F.C. and the Steaua Bucuresti players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, PanSerraikos 1964 F.C.'s Fanis Perdikoglou got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Ermis Zacharioudakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gheorghe Cunea in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute of the match Steaua Bucuresti got a corner. PanSerraikos 1964 F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Iulian Ciuvică ran over to the corner to take the kick. After some careless play in the PanSerraikos 1964 F.C. defense, Filip Panțuru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ermis Zacharioudakis. The PanSerraikos 1964 F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ermis Zacharioudakis should have stopped the shot. Ermis Zacharioudakis came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Steaua Bucuresti's Gheorghe Cunea. But to his dismay, Gheorghe Cunea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 13 played minutes PanSerraikos 1964 F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Nicasio Ted. PanSerraikos 1964 F.C.'s Ermis Zacharioudakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Panțuru in the 14th minute of play. After 18 played minutes Steaua Bucuresti got a freekick which was hit by Traian Constantinescu. Aron Ciorăscu scored 0-3 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ermis Zacharioudakis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Veniamin Trichias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Radu Isaicu made a huge save. Fanis Perdikoglou hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Iulian Ciuvică, 29 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, Steaua Bucuresti's Aurel Pandrea got a free kick in the 31st minute. The supporters of Steaua Bucuresti booed when PanSerraikos 1964 F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vassilis Efthimakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filip Panțuru during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of PanSerraikos 1964 F.C. booed when Steaua Bucuresti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filip Panțuru didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 38 minutes of play, Steaua Bucuresti's Aron Ciorăscu made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ermis Zacharioudakis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Filip Panțuru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Ermis Zacharioudakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnalt Gimenez charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnalt Gimenez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 45 played minutes PanSerraikos 1964 F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Arnalt Gimenez. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Filip Panțuru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Steaua Bucuresti's supporters rose to their feet, but Filip Panțuru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ermis Zacharioudakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Vrasidas Konstas fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PanSerraikos 1964 F.C.'s protests and gave Vrasidas Konstas a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Iulian Ciuvică managed to get in a good position for a shot. Steaua Bucuresti's supporters rose to their feet, but Iulian Ciuvică was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ermis Zacharioudakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aron Ciorăscu made a kick off. Ermis Zacharioudakis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filip Panțuru in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute Steaua Bucuresti were awarded a corner. Iulian Ciuvică went to the cornerflag to take it. Iulian Ciuvică made a great header on Steaua Bucuresti's corner, it was just that PanSerraikos 1964 F.C.'s Ermis Zacharioudakis managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 57th match minute, Steaua Bucuresti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurel Pandrea to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute, Aron Ciorăscu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ermis Zacharioudakis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Ermis Zacharioudakis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aron Ciorăscu went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. In the 67th minute, Gheorghe Cunea reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ermis Zacharioudakis. The goal made the score 0-8. Steaua Bucuresti's Ferdinand Vasiliu was substituted for Marcu Şerbănoiu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ionuț Drumeș in the 72nd minute of play forced PanSerraikos 1964 F.C.'s goalkeeper Ermis Zacharioudakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ionuț Drumeș blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ermis Zacharioudakis having to make a save. A collision led to PanSerraikos 1964 F.C. getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Thanos Krasakis hit a great ball. Iulian Ciuvică recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ermis Zacharioudakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionuț Drumeș in the 84th minute of play. After 87 minutes of play, Steaua Bucuresti's Ionuț Drumeș made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ermis Zacharioudakis was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in PanSerraikos 1964 F.C.'s zone, Aurel Pandrea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ermis Zacharioudakis came out of the goal and Aurel Pandrea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ermis Zacharioudakis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aron Ciorăscu in the 97th minute. Steaua Bucuresti played a much better game than PanSerraikos 1964 F.C. and deserved their victory. The PanSerraikos 1964 F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
