Aron Ciorăscu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Dong made a huge save. Dong stood somewhat misplaced when Gheorghe Cunea came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 10 minute. Dong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aron Ciorăscu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, Valiente Venezian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Gheorghe Cunea took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Dong to make any attempt to save it. Marcu Şerbănoiu kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Cercadinho's Dong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aron Ciorăscu in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Gheorghe Cunea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dong. Cercadinho's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gheorghe Cunea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. A nice corner shot did that William de Castro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Radu Isaicu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Cercadinho were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after Steaua Bucuresti's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Walmir Pirani took the corner. After some careless play in the Cercadinho defense, Gheorghe Cunea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dong. The Cercadinho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dong should have stopped the shot. Cercadinho's Dong proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Cercadinho from getting a goal against them. Steaua Bucuresti's Radu Isaicu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William de Castro in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gheorghe Cunea to make the kick off. 50 minutes into the match, Cercadinho's goal looked a bit too open when Gheorghe Cunea came free, but Dong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dong stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gheorghe Cunea's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Gheorghe Cunea put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Dong. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Ionuț Drumeș managed to get in a good position for a shot. Steaua Bucuresti's supporters rose to their feet, but Ionuț Drumeș was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dong breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gheorghe Cunea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dong read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Gheorghe Cunea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Dong was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aron Ciorăscu in the 68th minute of play. After 69 minutes of play, Steaua Bucuresti's Ionuț Drumeș made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dong was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cercadinho made a substitution. Jailson Mazza replaced Ricardinho Sousa. Dong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gheorghe Cunea in the 73rd minute of the match. Dong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionuț Drumeș in the 74th minute of play. Dong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aron Ciorăscu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Cercadinho booed when Steaua Bucuresti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ionuț Drumeș didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cercadinho's Dong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ionuț Drumeș in the 83rd minute of play. William de Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Radu Isaicu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Aron Ciorăscu made a precise shot to the right of Dong. Cercadinho's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. Aron Ciorăscu kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 91st minute of the match Walmir Pirani sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Radu Isaicu skillfully saved the ball. In the 91st minute, Marcu Şerbănoiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th match minute, Cercadinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Gerber to maneuver through the defense. After 96 played minutes, Steaua Bucuresti's Emil Cernea shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dong came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Steaua Bucuresti reached it. Steaua Bucuresti walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
