Leonardo Romani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Sindo Pabon sped through Club Deportivo O IRIXO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leonardo Romani. In the 25th minute, Zinedine Benzema reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leonardo Romani. The goal made the score 6-0. Leonardo Romani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lesardo Moreno, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute Sindo Pabon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Romani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of AGT Team booed when Club Deportivo O IRIXO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hitzeder Palomar didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Leonardo Romani managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when AGT Team's Sindo Pabon fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 9-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zinedine Benzema was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Sindo Pabon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonardo Romani was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 14-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Leonardo Romani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Azofra, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bertran Diaz in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonardo Romani saved Club Deportivo O IRIXO from getting behind. After 81 played minutes Club Deportivo O IRIXO got a freekick which was hit by Hitzeder Palomar. 82 minutes into the match, Zinedine Benzema had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonardo Romani. Club Deportivo O IRIXO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zinedine Benzema was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 15-0. In the 85th minute, Joan Perpiñán made a precise shot to the right of Leonardo Romani. Club Deportivo O IRIXO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 16-0. In the 90th minute, Benito Azofra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AGT Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 17-0. 93 minutes into the game, Zinedine Benzema cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 18-0. Leonardo Romani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
