Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rupert Heidingsfelder kicked off to start the match. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Rune Jarstein as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 14 played minutes Balus Treter got a freekick which was hit by Jacob van der Werff. Lüder Roppel struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Karsten Zielinski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hertha 1969. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Melzer in the 23rd minute of play forced Balus Treter's goalkeeper Karsten Zielinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rupert Heidingsfelder in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karsten Zielinski saved Balus Treter from getting behind. Karsten Zielinski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Hovermann in the 28th minute of the match. Rune Jarstein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Neşat Beykan, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The Hertha 1969 fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Hertha 1969's Nils Hovermann looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hertha 1969's Rune Jarstein proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Hertha 1969 from getting a goal against them. Karsten Zielinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigel Elenescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gottlieb Hammer to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Balus Treter's Gottlieb Hammer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rune Jarstein made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. When Gottlieb Hammer came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Balus Treter fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gottlieb Hammer couldn't finish the play. Rupert Heidingsfelder took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karsten Zielinski. Karsten Zielinski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Rune Jarstein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gottlieb Hammer, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Karsten Zielinski made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Rupert Heidingsfelder sent off a good shot on target. Balus Treter's Milenko Ermentraut quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lara Scherz, made in the 82nd minute of the game. 89 minutes into the match, Rupert Heidingsfelder dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Karsten Zielinski, 2-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Hertha 1969 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
