But to his dismay, Matías Suárez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Matías Suárez might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matías Suárez ran back to his position shaking his head. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matías Suárez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, C.A Gryffindor's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Cássio Corinth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Montenegro in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cássio Corinth saved C.A Gryffindor from getting behind. 31 minutes into the match, Matías Suárez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matías Suárez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Cássio Corinth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cássio Corinth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santino Seco in the 42nd minute of play. When Matías Suárez came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the C.A Gryffindor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matías Suárez couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matías Suárez was the one to do the kick off. C.A Gryffindor's Cássio Corinth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save C.A Gryffindor from getting a goal against them. Denílson Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 57th minute Denílson Lopes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matías Suárez in the 60th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cássio Corinth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Mastache, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after C.A Gryffindor's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Montenegro took the corner. After 66 played minutes C.A Gryffindor got a freekick which was hit by Tomé de Alcântara. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. Tomé de Alcântara hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. With a little luck, C.A Gryffindor's Cássio Corinth got control of the ball when Abram Secada tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matías Suárez in the 71st minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, C.A Gryffindor's Matías Suárez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Abram Secada might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cássio Corinth. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abram Secada ran back to his position shaking his head. C.A Gryffindor's Cássio Corinth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save C.A Gryffindor from getting a goal against them. C.A Gryffindor's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Abram Secada scored to the left of an out of position Cássio Corinth, making the score, 3-2. C.A Gryffindor made a substitution. Paredes Pedrera replaced Marquinhos Filho. C.A Gryffindor made a substitution. Edgard Mangueira replaced Denílson Lopes. A throw-in in the 81st minute of the game was made by Sarracino Marsano with Karl-Erik Magnusson as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. A sloppy throw-in by Antonio Indiano in the 82nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by C.A Gryffindor's Ramiro Passos. In the 84th minute, Kevin Mastache got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cássio Corinth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 86th minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Ignacio Mastache notched a goal, 3-4, to the right of C.A Gryffindor's Cássio Corinth. Cássio Corinth was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Colombia's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
