In the 6th minute, Abraham Alguacil left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rikard Olaussen in the 10th minute of play. Isidoro Elequemedo was a little too slow when Tomas Berganza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 2-0. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rikard Olaussen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, Ole-Petter Anda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isidoro Sarmiento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Isidoro Elequemedo made a huge save. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Kenneth Brynildsen in the 26th minute of play. Isidoro Elequemedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 30th minute. After having played for 34 minutes, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berganza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jan-Kenneth Brynildsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. Marcos Cotilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rikard Olaussen's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. If Rikard Olaussen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Panama booed when Titleist was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Kenneth Brynildsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The audience was convinced that Tomas Berganza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isidoro Elequemedo was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. The referee ignored Panama's protests and gave Tomas Berganza a yellow card for diving instead. After 66 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Berganza. In the 67th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dylan Sarmiento to maneuver through the defense. Titleist's Gunnar Lundgård got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isidoro Elequemedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Panama's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abraham Alguacil in the 71st minute. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Gunnar Lundgård sent off a good shot on target. Abraham Alguacil hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Abraham Alguacil kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rikard Olaussen in the 79th minute of play. Isidoro Elequemedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 80th minute of the match. Isidoro Sarmiento struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Isidoro Elequemedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. Isidoro Elequemedo came out of the goal and Isidoro Sarmiento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Panama booed when Titleist was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrik Bakstad didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 94th minute of play forced Titleist's goalkeeper Isidoro Elequemedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Titleist fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 96th minute. Penalty! Panama's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
