In the 84thth minute of the game Cristian Santamaria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Carmelo Sifon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Carmelo Sifon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Real Madrid de Guatemala's Carmelo Sifon in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 94 played minutes, Real Madrid de Guatemala's Rolando Guevara shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Real Madrid de Guatemala reached it. Real Madrid de Guatemala were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
