Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Arrecifes's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Arif Ozan Oğuztan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute Cirilo Ritchie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Ritchie came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Arrecifes booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Macos Graciani didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18thth minute of the game Cirilo Ritchie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 20th minute Arrecifes were awarded a corner. Modesto Gipuzkoa went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Kevin De Bruyne got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dante Lacasa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Arif Ozan Oğuztan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 22nd minute of the match. Luca Zorita hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Joel Gaona took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arif Ozan Oğuztan. Arif Ozan Oğuztan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 33 minutes into the match, Cirilo Ritchie notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cirilo Ritchie went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Arif Ozan Oğuztan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

51 minutes in the game Macos Graciani did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Luca Zorita. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cirilo Ritchie's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Lautaro Mancebo might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arif Ozan Oğuztan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lautaro Mancebo ran back to his position shaking his head. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Ritchie in the 62nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Arrecifes defense, Lautaro Mancebo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arif Ozan Oğuztan. The Arrecifes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arif Ozan Oğuztan should have stopped the shot. Arrecifes's Hipolito Laurendi was substituted for Natanael Matorin. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Senon, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Joel Gaona fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arif Ozan Oğuztan quite easily take care of the ball. Lautaro Mancebo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Arif Ozan Oğuztan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Arif Ozan Oğuztan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.
