When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cirilo Ritchie made a kick off. With his leg Arif Ozan Oğuztan managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 58 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. In the 59th minute, Cirilo Ritchie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Arrecifes's Arif Ozan Oğuztan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 62nd minute of play. At last the ball reached Carlos Eufrasio at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Ecuador. 5-0. When the referee blew the final whistle, Arrecifes could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
