Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Håkan Wiklund having to interfere. Håkan Wiklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Håkan Wiklund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Jammy Van Essche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Håkan Wiklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after RACINGUS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Amador Raymond received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Amador Raymond slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 19th minute. After 27 minutes of play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Håkan Wiklund was left in no man's land by his defense there! 30 minutes into the match, RACINGUS's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Håkan Wiklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 33 played minutes RACINGUS got a freekick which was hit by Silvio Dolcet. Håkan Wiklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Sebastián Puig in the 35th minute of play. The corner led to Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Leonides Chago notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 43rd minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Håkan Wiklund. RACINGUS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 46th minute of the match, Leonides Chago tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonides Chago stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Ecuador booed when RACINGUS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvio Dolcet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Håkan Wiklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 51st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Juan Sebastián Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Sebastián Puig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Håkan Wiklund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Håkan Wiklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zoritas short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Håkan Wiklund to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 59th minute, Leonides Chago made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. The supporters of Ecuador booed when RACINGUS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejo Bento didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. RACINGUS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that RACINGUS's Håkan Wiklund managed to reach the ball for a save. 69 minutes into the match, RACINGUS's goalkeeper Håkan Wiklund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Leonides Chago kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 73rd minute, which Håkan Wiklund however easily saved by the left post. Håkan Wiklund came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. With a little luck, RACINGUS's Håkan Wiklund got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 78thth minute of the game Leonides Chago who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Amador Raymond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Chago in the 83rd minute of play. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Håkan Wiklund made a huge save. 85 minutes into the game, Jammy Van Essche was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RACINGUS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. After a rather tough play, RACINGUS's Jammy Van Essche got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 88th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Sebastián Puig to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jammy Van Essche in the 89th minute of the match. Alejo Bento kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Leonides Chago left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RACINGUS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-3. A collision led to RACINGUS getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Leonides Chago hit a great ball.
