FC PullaPojat's Reino Helavuori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 6th minute of play. When Aimo Karjalainen came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the FC PullaPojat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aimo Karjalainen couldn't finish the play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edwin Söderqvist in the 15th minute of play. Pyry Kuokkanen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Pyry Kuokkanen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to FC PullaPojat getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Onni Turunen hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 21st minute of play forced FC PullaPojat's goalkeeper Reino Helavuori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reino Helavuori stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edwin Söderqvist in the 33rd minute of play. Reino Helavuori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the game, Pyry Kuokkanen lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edwin Söderqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After 47 played minutes FC PullaPojat got a freekick which was hit by Onni Turunen. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edwin Söderqvist to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. FC PullaPojat's Aimo Karjalainen got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edwin Söderqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Reino Helavuori made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Reino Helavuori didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. Patricio Costa was extremely unlucky when he, in the 76th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The supporters of FC PullaPojat booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Illescas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, Untamo Salermo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC PullaPojat fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. In the 96th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
