In the 67th minute Orlando Casaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fortunato Sangermano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Davide Rinaldi took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After 80 minutes, Virgílio Furtado made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Chile's Thiago Pliego tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kleanthis Zoumakis in the 87th minute of play.
