Jonathan Venegas's late challenge caught a MauryLocoFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Venegas helped the player get up and apologised. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Millan Galbarruri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 32nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorio Canto in the 36th minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Millan Galbarruri notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Millan Galbarruri made a kick off. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Millan Galbarruri tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Millan Galbarruri got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 55th minute, Millan Galbarruri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MauryLocoFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. In the 57th minute, Orain Lucio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Donatello Barcelo in the 64th minute. Millan Galbarruri received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Millan Galbarruri slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 71st minute. 78 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Millan Galbarruri. Valery Menendez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 88th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valery Menendez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mateo Bizen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. MauryLocoFC played a much better game than Venezuela and deserved their victory. The Venezuela players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
