Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hagen Stößlein, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Celalettin Uzel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 19th minute of the match. The supporters of Ecuador booed when ☆TC☆ NiCoTiN ☆TC☆ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ştefan Frunză didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celalettin Uzel having to interfere. After 28 played minutes ☆TC☆ NiCoTiN ☆TC☆ got a freekick which was hit by Sebastiaan Ooijer. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Celalettin Uzel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rıfkı Erdönmez in the 44th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

☆TC☆ NiCoTiN ☆TC☆'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Yasin Yasin in the 54th minute. A nice corner shot did that Yasin Yasin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Rıfkı Erdönmez kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Rıfkı Erdönmez's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rıfkı Erdönmez helped the player get up and apologised. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hagen Stößlein in the 64th minute of play. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Hagen Stößlein tried to sneak it across the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, ☆TC☆ NiCoTiN ☆TC☆'s goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Celalettin Uzel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Neymar Lewandowski couldn't finish the play. In the 91st match minute, ☆TC☆ NiCoTiN ☆TC☆ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastiaan Ooijer to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Neymar Lewandowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Neymar Lewandowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 94 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. Neymar Lewandowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. 95 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Neymar Lewandowski came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Ecuador were the better team. Ecuador's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
