The corner led Honduras's Edmundo Espiga to fire away a dangerous shot which Eugen Remus despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Lu Wagner might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lautaro Navarro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lu Wagner ran back to his position shaking his head. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Honduras from getting a goal against them. In the 20th minute Luca Espinar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugen Remus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vecdi Başesgioğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Vecdi Başesgioğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Vecdi Başesgioğlu came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Lautaro Navarro managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Greenbay's Will Alderson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Moises Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugen Remus having to interfere. A collision led to Greenbay getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Will Alderson hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andre Shakespeare in the 43rd minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andre Shakespeare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vecdi Başesgioğlu in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Lu Wagner made in the 53rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Ivan Navarro. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Luca Espinar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Luca Espinar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eugen Remus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andre Shakespeare might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lautaro Navarro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andre Shakespeare ran back to his position shaking his head. Vecdi Başesgioğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Will Alderson in the 61st minute of play. Vecdi Başesgioğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 66th minute of play forced Greenbay's goalkeeper Eugen Remus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Will Alderson in the 74th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 75 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Valentín Carvallo. 78 minutes into the game, Greenbay's Will Alderson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Will Alderson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Vecdi Başesgioğlu made a precise shot to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Andre Shakespeare managed to get in a good position for a shot. Greenbay's supporters rose to their feet, but Andre Shakespeare was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Greenbay had played much better football throughout.
