Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) After 2 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Juan Rubio. Greenbay's Andre Shakespeare got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 5th minute, Will Alderson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Axel Tasis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugen Remus having to interfere. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vecdi Başesgioğlu in the 9th minute of play. Will Alderson struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Greenbay. In the 14th minute, Alexander Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Andre Shakespeare kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Will Alderson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Greenbay's Vecdi Başesgioğlu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Juan Rubio hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Andre Shakespeare stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Andre Shakespeare tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Will Alderson in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Greenbay's Lu Wagner got a free kick in the 34th minute. With 37 minutes on the clock, Alexander Carballo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Costa Rica! In the 42nd minute, Andre Shakespeare made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eliseo Noboa was the one to do the kick off. Will Alderson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Benito Sanz made a huge save. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when Vecdi Başesgioğlu scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 0-5. If Will Alderson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Andre Shakespeare received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Andre Shakespeare slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 63rd minute. 66 minutes into the game, Will Alderson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. Will Alderson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vecdi Başesgioğlu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 73 minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Will Alderson. Hugo Ferrant hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Will Alderson let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 78th minute shot 0-10 at rihgt post. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Eliseo Noboa hit a great ball. 87 minutes into the game, Andre Shakespeare cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-12. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andre Shakespeares short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Benito Sanz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 93rd minute, Tyler Morton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes into the match, Will Alderson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Will Alderson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-13.
