Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Peru's Julian Murillo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Milagros Fraga kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Weather Piedrahita. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Atletico Maturrango's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Weather Piedrahita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 13th minute. The corner led to Peru's Eliseo Mina getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 17thth minute of the game Florencio Herbella who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sindo Enterria made in the 19th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Florencio Herbella however managed to control. In the 21st minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Weather Piedrahita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Atletico Maturrango's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Weather Piedrahita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florencio Herbella in the 29th minute of play. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Efraim Gilabert hit a great ball. In the 35th minute of the match, Julian Murillo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Weather Piedrahita saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 38 minutes into the game, Xizavier Varona was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atletico Maturrango's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peru the free kick. After a rather tough play, Atletico Maturrango's Xizavier Varona got a free kick in the 39th minute. Atletico Maturrango's Weather Piedrahita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Leonides Ybarbo made the kick off in the second half. Weather Piedrahita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Weather Piedrahita came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Eliseo Mina. But to his dismay, Eliseo Mina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 59 minutes had been played when some careless play by Atletico Maturrango's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. Peru's Joaquin Prats was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Weather Piedrahita in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Julian Murillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Weather Piedrahita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 65th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Weather Piedrahita was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 73 minutes into the game, Sindo Enterria threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Weather Piedrahita was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Weather Piedrahita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Mina in the 80th minute of the match. Weather Piedrahita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86th minute, Julian Murillo made a precise shot to the right of Weather Piedrahita. Atletico Maturrango's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Weather Piedrahita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Gallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 93 minutes into the game, Antonio Tenorio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Weather Piedrahita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There was no doubt that Peru were the better team. Peru's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
