Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the game, Lautaro Puig cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Kurtuluş Öğeturk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aaron Alcocer took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kurtuluş Öğeturk. Kurtuluş Öğeturk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After some careless play in the Senator S.A.K defense, Lautaro Puig kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kurtuluş Öğeturk. The Senator S.A.K fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kurtuluş Öğeturk should have stopped the shot. Kurtuluş Öğeturk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Tasis's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Eliseo Noboa hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. A collision led to Senator S.A.K getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Orbay Özgiray hit a great ball. After 33 played minutes Senator S.A.K got a freekick which was hit by Arcan Egesel. If Axel Tasis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Alcocer in the 40th minute of play forced Senator S.A.K's goalkeeper Kurtuluş Öğeturk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kurtuluş Öğeturk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 43rd minute of play. The Senator S.A.K players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Costa Rica were winning 0-4.

The wind increased when Axel Tasis made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match Efrain Moruga shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kurtuluş Öğeturk showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With 59 minutes on the clock, Soner Ilgın commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 61st minute of the game, Costa Rica got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. Lautaro Puig took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kurtuluş Öğeturk. Kurtuluş Öğeturk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. After 76 played minutes Senator S.A.K got a freekick which was hit by Bayhan Dilsafa. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurtuluş Öğeturk having to interfere. 84 minutes into the game, Eliseo Noboa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Kurtuluş Öğeturk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Senator S.A.K's Kurtuluş Öğeturk got control of the ball when Lautaro Puig tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lautaro Puig succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-8 in the 87th playminute. 93 minutes into the game, Eliseo Noboa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kurtuluş Öğeturk. Eliseo Noboa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-9. Costa Rica's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
