Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 5 minutes, Fadıl Kutlualp successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 9 minutes into the match, ADANA DEMİR SPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Fadıl Kutlualp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Fadıl Kutlualp made a huge save. In the 11th minute, Tomas Illescas made a precise shot to the right of Fadıl Kutlualp. ADANA DEMİR SPOR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. With a little luck, ADANA DEMİR SPOR's Fadıl Kutlualp got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 19 minutes, Battal Cüneyt Afacan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ADANA DEMİR SPOR and the Venezuela players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to ADANA DEMİR SPOR getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Battal Cüneyt Afacan hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 20th minute of play forced ADANA DEMİR SPOR's goalkeeper Fadıl Kutlualp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bora Han Ozan kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, ADANA DEMİR SPOR's Edip Sökmener got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Tomas Illescas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Fadıl Kutlualp when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 23rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute, Tomas Illescas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fadıl Kutlualp. The goal made the score 3-0. Edip Sökmener kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. In the 47th minute, Venezuela's Patricio Costa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fadıl Kutlualp. Fadıl Kutlualp yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hayyam Yarlık during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fadıl Kutlualp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 59 minutes of play ADANA DEMİR SPOR's Battal Cüneyt Afacan was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to ADANA DEMİR SPOR getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Battal Cüneyt Afacan hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patricio Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patricio Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 70th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute, Tomas Illescas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Venezuela fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. In the 79th minute, Tomas Illescas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fadıl Kutlualp was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. 83 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Fadıl Kutlualp was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Venezuela had played much better football throughout.
