Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan Tomaszewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 7th minute of play forced Zielonka Gdansk's goalkeeper Jan Tomaszewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 19thth minute of the game Leszek Falke who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Leszek Falke put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Qiu Ling Lang, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the last second Julio Vera throw himself and got hold of the ball when Leszek Falke in the 29thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 30th minute Zielonka Gdansk were awarded a corner. Qiu Ling Lang went to the cornerflag to take it. Jan Tomaszewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leszek Falke in the 39th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Qiu Ling Lang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leszek Falke to make the kick off. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leszek Falke in the 52nd minute of play. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leszek Falke's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Qiu Ling Lang was slow to take the kick. During this time Zielonka Gdansk's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leszek Falke in the 56th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute Zielonka Gdansk were awarded a corner. Qiu Ling Lang went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 59th minute Huang Kuan Liang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zielonka Gdansk's Ben Hart was substituted for Walery Zawada. In the 70th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jan Tomaszewski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Nicasio Errapel tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Jan Tomaszewski. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-2 in the 70th minute. In the 74th minute Leszek Falke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leszek Falke in the 78th minute of play. Daniel Zorita was extremely unlucky when he, in the 81st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Jan Tomaszewski made a huge save. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Jan Tomaszewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ganga Banga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Despite being the better team, Ecuador failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
