Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Theo Machado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. 10 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lars Holand. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Holand in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 15th minute of play forced Λstral Villains FC's goalkeeper Theo Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Theo Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Λstral Villains FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Theo Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Theo Machado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Λstral Villains FC's goalie prevented a goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Holand in the 35th minute of play. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lars Holand's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. The audience was convinced that Daniel Zorita's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Theo Machado was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Theo Machado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Pedro Cavalcante hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Λstral Villains FC's goalkeeper Theo Machado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 46th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Λstral Villains FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. A very nice done corner allowed Daniel Zorita to score against Theo Machado in Λstral Villains FC's goal. 0-2 after 46 minutes. The Λstral Villains FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-2.

After 52 minutes, Lars Holand mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Λstral Villains FC and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Λstral Villains FC's Lars Holand got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Λstral Villains FC's Theo Machado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Λstral Villains FC from getting a goal against them. In the 53rd minute, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Λstral Villains FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Jefferson de Amaral hit a great ball. Λstral Villains FC's Ahmad Okhumeode Krychowiak quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Felix Montenegro, made in the 68th minute of the game. 69 minutes into the match, Λstral Villains FC's Emil Berntzen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Λstral Villains FC were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emil Berntzen took the corner. Emil Berntzen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a free kick in the 77th minute. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the game, Emil Berntzen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 91 minutes into the match, Λstral Villains FC's goalkeeper Theo Machado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. In the 93rd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Ecuador's Cristian Sancho to fire away a dangerous shot which Theo Machado despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Λstral Villains FC throughout the match.
