ADANA DEMİR SPOR's Fadıl Kutlualp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 27th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, ADANA DEMİR SPOR's Kubilay Nurkan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Kubilay Nurkan took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Kubilay Nurkan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Kubilay Nurkan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant was at the wrong place when Kubilay Nurkan in the 38th minute shot the ball in the right cross to 3-1. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kubilay Nurkan in the 44th minute of the match. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kubilay Nurkan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind ADANA DEMİR SPOR's goalkeeper Fadıl Kutlualp, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Battal Cüneyt Afacan hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fadıl Kutlualp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Tomas Illescas fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fadıl Kutlualp having to interfere. ADANA DEMİR SPOR made a substitution. Ahmet Ömür Kuluk replaced Battal Cüneyt Afacan. Erkut Ersevim's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erkut Ersevim helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 73 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 76th minute by Patricio Costa got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Fadıl Kutlualp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Fadıl Kutlualp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. A throw-in in the 87th minute of the game was made by Güneş Kaynak with Kubilay Nurkan as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Güneş Kaynak got a throw-in 93 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Kubilay Nurkan. In a very dangerous position, a player in ADANA DEMİR SPOR fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty!
