In the 15th minute, Tobias Patxi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 19 minutes of play, Muñeco FC's Víctor Franco made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 21 minutes, Joshua Secada mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Muñeco FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Muñeco FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joshua Secada didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Muñeco FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Adan Lizer hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Domeka in the 35th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Muñeco FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Muñeco FC! Tyrone Summerfield went to the wrong direction when Tomas Illescas was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The supporters of Muñeco FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball.
