After having played for 27 minutes, Francisco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uruguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Seco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nistor Anton got free with Joaquin Gayoso in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iustin Radovan succeeded in the game's 31st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1. In the 34th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Escribano to maneuver through the defense. After 37 minutes Purcaresti CSS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jaime Cazalla who took care of the corner kick. When Nistor Anton came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Purcaresti CSS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nistor Anton couldn't finish the play. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iustin Radovan in the 42nd minute of play. Iustin Radovan succeeded in the game's 42nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iustin Radovan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Purcaresti CSS had won after a very even match.
