Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Adriano Sciotto started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesus Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Valentino Ferrant got a free kick in the 5th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Alfredo Santo in the 8th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by El Salvador's Valentino Ferrant. Camillo Malatesta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Fernandino in the 10th minute of play. A well-hit corner resulted in Jorge Magrina heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The supporters of El Salvador booed when Fiume Veneto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Moreschi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abram Luque took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Camillo Malatesta. Camillo Malatesta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Demetrio Giorgi made in the 30th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Alfredo Santo immediately put the ball in play. In the 31st minute, Fiume Veneto's Bruno Rossetti ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Jorge Magrina's late challenge caught a Fiume Veneto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Magrina helped the player get up and apologised. After 38 minutes, Marco Tamayo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Salvador and the Fiume Veneto players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Fiume Veneto booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Tamayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredo Santo missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 40 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Ricardo Zorita right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adriano Sciotto got free with Ricardo Zorita in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Moises Fernandino made the kick off in the second half. If Adriano Sciotto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Sciotto came free, but Ricardo Zorita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Fernandino to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Demetrio Giorgi during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Demetrio Giorgi kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After 63 played minutes Fiume Veneto got a freekick which was hit by Demetrio Giorgi. 65 minutes into the match, Fiume Veneto's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Luque came free, but Camillo Malatesta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moises Fernandino struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Camillo Malatesta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Salvador. In the 69th minute, Moises Fernandino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Sciotto in the 71st minute of play. Ricardo Zorita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bruno Rossetti went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Ricardo Zorita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmondo Urbani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Rossetti in the 78th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moises Fernandino got free with Camillo Malatesta in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 83 minutes, Adriano Sciotto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fiume Veneto and the El Salvador players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fiume Veneto's Adriano Sciotto got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Camillo Malatesta was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Mateo Leguizamo. In the 85th minute, Luis Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Bruno Rossetti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fiume Veneto's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Rossetti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Zorita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Demetrio Giorgi made in the 89th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Alfredo Santo. Edmondo Urbani blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ricardo Zorita having to make a save. A collision led to El Salvador getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Valentino Ferrant hit a great ball. There was no doubt that Fiume Veneto were the better team. Fiume Veneto's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
