Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Julian Murillo made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Roberto Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 4th minute, Alonso Berganza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zé Roberto Teixeira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efraim Gilabert to maneuver through the defense. Zé Roberto Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Mina, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The Peru fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Peru's Julian Murillo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 23 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira. Zé Roberto Teixeira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zé Roberto Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 27th minute. After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Luz Tejedor fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Zé Roberto Teixeira quite easily take care of the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Zé Roberto Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru's attentive Alonso Berganza managed to snatch the ball when Vladimiro Marquez made a throw-in in the 37th minute of the game. Zé Roberto Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Peru were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Stamen Tekeliev in the 52nd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Playa Malvín's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Stelian Murgu in the 53rd minute. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stamen Tekeliev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emmanuel Reyes hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Playa Malvín made a substitution. Josu Onez replaced Sandu Mândrilă. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. A sloppy throw-in by Gamus Rocha in the 79th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Luz Tejedor hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. After 82 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Luz Tejedor. After 89 minutes of play, Peru's Rafael Gallo made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zé Roberto Teixeira was left in no man's land by his defense there!
