Abeluse Flow's Oscar Maldonado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 5th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Hugo Ferrant in the 7th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Abeluse Flow's Silvano Adán. Hugo Ferrant hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Axel Tasis struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Oscar Maldonado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. Abeluse Flow's Bras Menendez quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Efrain Moruga, made in the 16th minute of the game. 17 minutes into the match, Abeluse Flow's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Oscar Maldonado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abeluse Flow's Silvano Adán managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hugo Ferrant in the 19 minute of the game. Abeluse Flow's Bras Menendez quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Efrain Moruga, made in the 22nd minute of the game. Eliseo Noboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Oscar Maldonado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oscar Maldonado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Tasis in the 30th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Hugo Ferrant in the 32nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Abeluse Flow's Silvano Adán. Efrain Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Axel Tasis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Abeluse Flow's Silvano Adán quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hugo Ferrant, made in the 39th minute of the game. In the 40th minute, Axel Tasis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Oscar Maldonado. The goal made the score 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriz Canturri in the 45th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Abeluse Flow defense, Axel Tasis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oscar Maldonado. The Abeluse Flow fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oscar Maldonado should have stopped the shot. Abeluse Flow's attentive Bras Menendez managed to snatch the ball when Abel Carballo made a throw-in in the 59th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Tasis in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oscar Maldonado saved Abeluse Flow from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Tasis in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oscar Maldonado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abeluse Flow's attentive Bras Menendez managed to snatch the ball when Efrain Moruga made a throw-in in the 66th minute of the game. 68 minutes into the game, Hugo Ferrant threw the ball into play from the sideline. Abeluse Flow's Silvano Adán quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Axel Tasis struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Eliseo Noboa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oscar Maldonado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lautaro Puig charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lautaro Puig the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Puig to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Costa Rica had won after a very even match.
