Lautaro Navarro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ron McElroy showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. In the 17th minute, Valentín Carvallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mitch Dunn struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Phyperstars FC. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ron McElroy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Allen Goss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 46th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ron McElroy, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After 62 played minutes Phyperstars FC got a freekick which was hit by Mitch Dunn. In the 71st minute Mitch Dunn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerrod Castillo kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. The supporters of Phyperstars FC booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentín Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Mitch Dunn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Mitch Dunn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Ivan Navarro got a free kick in the 81st minute. The supporters of Phyperstars FC booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentín Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the game, Phyperstars FC's Mitch Dunn nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. The supporters of Honduras booed when Phyperstars FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodger Emerson didn't get a good kick on the ball.
