If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute, Wincenty Dudkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Jonathan Ferrant successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. ★★★★ FouR StaR ★★★★'s Denis Tabor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 16th minute of play. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Ferit Oyal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erdoğan Yücelen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Erdoğan Yücelen slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 30th minute. Tomas Illescas might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Denis Tabor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomas Illescas ran back to his position shaking his head. Denis Tabor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Patricio Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Denis Tabor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Denis Tabor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 43rd minute of play. Kuddusî Neşat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in ★★★★ FouR StaR ★★★★'s zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denis Tabor came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Denis Tabor was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Tomas Illescas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tomas Illescas really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by ★★★★ FouR StaR ★★★★'s Jorginho Lopez. But to his dismay, Jorginho Lopez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After a rather tough play, ★★★★ FouR StaR ★★★★'s Gian Amstad got a free kick in the 67th minute. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zebastian Rydelius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomas Illescas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Denis Tabor. That made the score 2-3 in the 80 minute of play. In the 84th minute of the match, Tomas Illescas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Denis Tabor was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Joshua Secada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Tabor having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ferit Oyal during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ferit Oyal kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Venezuela's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
