Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Stamen Tekeliev started the match with the kick off. Zé Roberto Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Mcdonald in the 3rd minute of play. Marco Day didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stamen Tekeliev went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Mcdonald got free with Zé Roberto Teixeira in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 9th minute Stamen Tekeliev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 13th minute of play forced Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute of the game Diego Bradley made a throw-in which Jenson Smith played forward. The crowd rose to their feet as Monty Rogers kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zé Roberto Teixeira. That made the score 1-1 in the 20 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 23rd minute of play forced Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Playa Malvín from getting a goal against them. If Alvise Catapano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Playa Malvín's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Cassius Byrne scored to the left of an out of position Zé Roberto Teixeira, making the score, 2-1. Zé Roberto Teixeira was a little too slow when Monty Rogers got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cassius Byrne to make the kick off. Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Mcdonald in the 52nd minute of play. Zé Roberto Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 60th minute of play. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Cassius Byrne sped through Playa Malvín's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zé Roberto Teixeira. Marco Day made an important save on a dangerous shot by Quinto Ampudia in the 72nd minute. Zé Roberto Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sam Campbell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zé Roberto Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 77th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Sam Campbell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé Roberto Teixeira was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. The audience thought a goal was coming when Quinto Ampudia got free with Marco Day in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
